FAQs

How many pads can the Easiseal unit hold?

The number of pads each unit holds really depends on size of the pads being disposed of but as a guide our tests show that the standard Easiseal tub can hold up to 30 light incontinence pads (size 3) and up to 18 medium pads (size 5)

How many pads can the Easiseal Maxi unit hold?

The Easiseal Maxi unit can hold up to 78 light incontinence pads (size 3) and up to 40 medium pads (size 5)

How long will the refill cassette last?

The refill cassette will last up to a month on average but this may vary depending on the size of the pads being wrapped. As a guide, each cassette will wrap up to 98 of the light pads (size 3) and 85 of the medium pads (size 5)

Which refill cassette do I need?

There are two cassettes available for your Easiseal disposal unit. Light odour protection uses a fragranced, anti-bacterial film which is ideal for light to medium use. It is proven to be 25 times more effective at odour protection than disposable plastic bags

The Extra Odour protection uses a multi-layer, fragranced film with an anti-bacterial barrier and is proven to be 100 times more effective at odour protection than disposable plastic bags

The lid cutter won’t turn

When you are ready to empty your Easiseal unit, you must ensure that the lid is closed and you press the cutter release button before attempting to turn the lid cutter. There is an illustration of a pair of scissors on the button to indicate this is for cutting the film. Turn the cutter one full turn clockwise, until the release button clicks back into place.

How do I clean my Easiseal Unit?

We recommend that you clean out your Easiseal unit with hot soapy water.
In the unlikely event, that your Easiseal tub starts to smell, bicarbonate of soda should solve the problem. Sprinkle it liberally into the tub base and leave overnight. Then rinse out with water, and the smell should have disappeared.
